Nicholas joined the ASYASS board in 2016. In the last few years, he has taken on the role of secretary. Nicholas graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2005 with degrees in Law and Commerce (accounting). While at Adelaide University he was part of the establishment of the Homeless Persons Legal Advice Service, which later became the Adelaide Legal Outreach Service. Nicholas moved to Alice Springs in 2007 to commence practising as a lawyer. He currently works at Povey Stirk Lawyers, primarily in the areas of commercial transactions, contract law, property law, estate planning, and corporate advisory and governance. He is company secretary for local commercial organisations, and was on the Northern Territory Law Society’s Governance, Finance and Risk Committee.
